I love the silent art of photography when each scene presents itself to me without words, but through the lens, it comes to life! While photographing, I immerse myself in a special and extraordinary world. Since childhood, I have had a deep connection to creation, I "feel" it’s deep within me. I truly believe that what my heart desires is the staging of creation to honor the Creator. As an old song puts it:
The heavens tell about the glory of their Creator, and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands. One day speaks to another, and one night imparts knowledge to another. They have no language and no words; their voice is not heard, but their sound spreads throughout the earth.
Macro photography is also a perfect tool to dive into the depths of nature, it’s the special charm to "feel" the silence, almost as the feeling if you can capture peace and tranquility.

Send light sparks
a good word at the right time
The "Send Light sparks" project was born out of the idea of learning to appreciate each other more again through encouragement and praise. Sometimes a few words of appreciation and gratitude can be like little sparks of light that brighten up a gray, dreary day and not least a depressed soul.
For this purpose, I create wooden greeting cards with pictures and encouraging and affirming sayings about faith, love and creation. They can be written on the inside like regular paper greeting cards.

The surroundings
I have not traveled around the world, but I have discovered the inexhaustible wealth of nature, in Ticino, the canton of my heart, and I have been able to learn the profession I dreamed of and through which I have learned to develop my perception of the environment.
I love the Mendrisiotto, a region that opens to the south. It has always been one of the most fertile agricultural areas in Ticino. The climate is mild and the winters are not very severe. Between Monte S. Giorgio, (part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site), Monte Generoso, and Monte Bisbino, there is an area called the Garden of Italian Switzerland.
Here I live, move, photograph, and divide my time between being a mother and wife and working at the hospital.
Stabio is a small town with 4700 inhabitants. In the past years, I have spent many hours with my camera in Laveggio Park. A place of leisure, silence, and encounter, in the suburbs, away from the hustle and bustle and the daily border traffic, but very close and easy to reach by foot. A place that invites to contemplation, I can admire the variety of flora and fauna and gather new strength. I love the river Laveggio very much, it seems somehow magical, reminiscent of poetry in a fairy tale landscape. This small river in the past had its own interesting and special history and certain importance for the population. The Laveggio is 11 km long and flows with its tributaries towards the north, through a wide plain between Stabio and Riva San Vitale, and then towards the Lake of Lugano.

I started my professional career in a black and white photo lab, back then they still worked with huge machines, enlargers, darkrooms, and plastic trays, with acids they develop and fixed the images by hand. The training was supposed to be the first step to realize my biggest dream: To be able to enter into the world of film editing. But then I made some other decisions and my life took a different direction. I graduated as a photographer in Ticino, but I have always kept a certain passion for cinematography and also for theater.
Creative photography, film and theater art, writing, and film music have influenced my life and spoken to my heart and soul.
I have an artist's heart and a heart for artists. By artist's heart, I mean a sensitive and also a little idealistic personality. The interaction between creativity, feelings, reason, and intuition is what I love about art, but not as much as the business that revolves around it, which is important for success, however, to be able to live from it! I gave up business because I put my priority on managing my family when my two children were born.
For the last eleven years, I have been working at the hospital in the field of hotel and room service and also in the intensive care unit.
It is a completely different reality from photography, but a source of great enrichment that has influenced my personal development. But photography, art, and creativity remained my passion, and I put my heart and soul into them.
